EW Balanced Curriculum

Early Wonders curriculum caters to children from ages 12 months to 4 1/2 year old. The EW curriculum is designed to provide experiences in the following areas to allow your child’s individual development needs to be met.

Personal, Social and Emotional development:

Loving, trustworthy and caring relationships encourage children to be independent and emotionally strong. And hence at Early Wonders we believe in building trust and secure relationships as the first step towards your child’s learning.

Language & Communication:

Children’s communication, speaking, listening, reading, comprehension and writing skills are supported in this area. The language material used is rich in vocabulary so that children develop strong communication skills, enabling them to interact with adults and peers. We follow a structured reading program for all our children.

Physical development:

The physical development is promoted to improve their skills of coordination, balance & control, and movement through dance, yoga amongst others.

Understanding the World:

This area helps children to make sense of their self and the world around them through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places and the environment.

Creative development:

Children are provided with opportunities to explore and share their thoughts, ideas and feelings during circle time, story-telling and role play. Children are encouraged to think out of the box and come up with a variety of options to the situation.

Mathematical development:

Mathematical concepts are presented in a hands-on way where children learn to work with quantities before learning to identify symbols and dealing with operations. Children learn, enjoy and practice problem solving, reasoning and numeracy.

Art & Design:

Children are provided with opportunities to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials such as art, music, movement and dance.

It is always exciting to see young children develop the confidence to manage their own personal needs, take risks and begin to grow into independent learners. At Early Wonders International Preschool, this is a daily occurrence.

EW Curriculum Framework

In order to achieve EW developmental goals for each child we have devised a unique method that blends in the learning from several leading international philosophies of early childhood education.

Strong Academic Foundation

EW curriculum gives equal emphasis to academic learning and life skill development. It is an amalgamation of emotional, social, physical, language, moral, creative and cognitive development to provide positive, flexible engaging experiences that encourage building the self-image of the child and an understanding of the world around him or her.

Skills For Life

Skills Like Executive function and Self regulation  are at the center of the brain architecture improving performance and productivity of an individual at the workplace.

Building Relationships

Loving, trustworthy and secure relationships encourage children to be independent and emotionally strong.
Hence at Early Wonders we believe in building that trust and secure relationship as the first step towards our child’s learning. This begins with a child and parent weaning off policy.
