Namrata Goel: Redefining Early Childhood Education Through Curiosity, Connection and Compassion
In an age where education is rapidly evolving, few educators have managed to bridge global pedagogy with deeply personal purpose as meaningfully as Namrata Goel, founder of Early Wonders International Preschool in Mumbai.
An educator, curriculum specialist, speaker and mother of three, Namrata's journey into early childhood education did not begin in a classroom - it began with a deeply personal realisation as a parent. Witnessing the transformation of her own child through the right learning environment inspired her to explore the deeper impact of early education on a child's confidence, emotional well-being and lifelong development.
Today, that conviction has evolved into Early Wonders, a preschool recognised for its progressive, inquiry-based approach that nurtures not only intellect, but also character, creativity and emotional intelligence.
A postgraduate in International Education from the University of Bath and an alumna of the Harvard Graduate School of Education summer programs, Namrata combines global research with practical classroom application. Her educational philosophy draws inspiration from inquiry-led and concept-based learning approaches, including the International Baccalaureate framework and the Reggio Emilia Approach.
Over the years, Namrata has worked extensively as an education consultant and teacher trainer, helping schools across India and internationally develop engaging, concept-based curricula. She has conducted teacher training workshops at leading institutions including GEMS World Academy, Ecole Mondiale World School and the American School of Bombay.
Her expertise spans child psychology, neuroscience in education, early childhood development and innovative teaching methodologies. Through her work, she advocates for classrooms that move beyond rote learning and instead cultivate thinking, inquiry, collaboration and emotional awareness from the earliest years.
Namrata's contributions to education have earned her recognition on both national and international platforms. She has been featured by The Times of India, Business Today and Forbes India, and was interviewed by Chetan Bhagat on the show Evangelist of India. She has also been invited as a speaker and panelist at forums including TEDx, the Economic Times Inspiring Women Leaders platform, and international education conferences across Bangkok, Geneva, Zurich and Qatar.
Among her many accolades are the Times of India Education Icon Award for innovative teaching and safety, the Education World India Award for future-ready preschool education, and the World Summit Award for Outstanding Early Childhood Educator in Dubai.
Yet, despite the accolades, Namrata believes her greatest achievement lies in creating an environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn.
Her vision continues to resonate with parents and educators alike, positioning Early Wonders as not just a preschool, but a thoughtfully designed foundation where curiosity becomes confidence and learning becomes meaningful.
A Lifetime Dedicated to Early Learning
A Mother's Inspiration
The inspiration to start Early Wonders sparked as a mother, when my first born experienced her preschool. What mattered to me was to make her happy and give her the best possible start to learning between home and school. What came along was a growing concern to provide a right balance - I felt something important was missing in the foundational years!
